Russia's Kamov says to sell helicopters to Turkey
#26

Hellfire II machen.

Hier die Originalnachricht zu dem Gespräch mit Bell Helicopter:

FORT WORTH, Texas --- On August 18, Tusas Aerospace Industries and Bell Helicopter will hold a conference in Fort Worth with all other U.S. subcontractors who seek to participate in the Turkey ATAK helicopter program.

The purpose of the conference is to establish a schedule for finalizing subcontracts required to implement the program.

This meeting follows three weeks of fruitful negotiations between Bell, TAI and the Turkey Undersecretariate for Defense Procurement (SSM). While Bell, TAI and SSM have agreed in principle on most terms and conditions, pricing negotiations remain open and are expected to resume shortly.

The Turkey ATAK program contract calls for an initial 50 King Cobra helicopters.. TAI is the prime contractor and Bell is the lead U.S. subcontractor. The program will provide maximum Turkish defense industry participation utilizing such prominent Turkish firms as TAI, Aselsan, Ayesas, TUBITAK - MAM and Netas. It will support an estimated 2,000 high tech jobs in Turkey during the life of the program. A significant offset package will further boost the Turkey defense industry.
