Afghan defense ministry spokesman Gen. Zahir Azimi quoted by BBC said, the deputy defense minister Gen. Humayoun Fauzi has visited Iran along with a delegation of Afghan officials but he did not comment regarding the defense memorandum between the two nations.
Gen. Azimi further added, the joint defense commission of Iran and Afghanistan was formed following the visit of Iran defense ministry to Kabul and this is the first time that the commission holds formal meetings.
