Also weiterhin wenig Fortschritte bei IPI. Die Ambitionen seitens Pakistans und Irans, die Russen und Chinesen ins Boot zu holen haben für Pakistan offenbar finanzielle und für den Iran offensichtlich politische Hintergründe. Insbesondere Russland hat ein Interesse daran, dass iranisches Gas vor allem in Asien vermarktet wird und die Chinesen haben selbst bereits beträchtliche Summen in diesem Sektor im Iran investiert. Pakistan wird bekanntlich von den USA erpresst, dieses Projekt unter keinen Umständen zu realisieren. Indien hält sich diplomatisch alle Möglichkeiten offen, scheint sich aktuell aber nicht mehr aktiv an den Planunen zu beteiligen. Daher zunächst "IP" - statt "IPI".
