Syria Army Continues Fighting Militants Near Ma’loula

"The army is continuing its mission in Ma’loula. There are still some terrorist pockets in the North of the town, in the al-Safir hotel and its surroundings, as well as in the hills surrounding the town," AFP quoted a security official as saying on Saturday.

The official also said the government forces made some progress, adding the fighting in Ma’loula has been hard as the army did not want to bomb the town.

Clashes Flare between Armed Rebels in Southern Syria

TEHRAN (FNA)- Clashes erupted once again between two different groups of armed rebels in Southern Syria.
According to FNA dispatches, disputes resulted in armed clashes between the members of two different terrorist groups in the city of al-Sheikh Meskin in Southern Syria.

Tens of militants have been killed and dozens more have been injured during the clashes which erupted over the share of the militants of each group from the goods stolen from the people in al-Sheikh Meskin city
