Japan's Self-Defense Forces will hold major exercise … from 01 – 18 Nov in southwestern Japan (Islands near Okinawa) … about 34,000 personnel taking part … activities to include “defence of remote islands” … for the first time deploy Type 88 coastal defence anti-ship missiles at both Okinawa and Miyako, effectively covering the Miyako Strait.
(rmks: China will just love this; expect some “screaming”, especially when “conflicting” with current Chinese navy exercises)
