Iran unveils simulator system for mirage fighter jets

The system has the capability to simulate flights in different weather conditions. The simulator has been built to increase the Air Force pilots’ accuracy and skills, improve flight safety standards and cut the costs.

In the meantime, a domestically-made system for firing light weapons, dubbed Fateh 12 (Conqueror 12), was also unveiled during the ceremony. The system has been designed and manufactured by the local experts from Iran’s Air Force and the Ministry of Defense.

Fateh 12 simulates real shooting conditions with four types of light firearms, including Heckler & Koch G3 assault rifle, AK-47 (Kalashnikov) machine gun, Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs) and pistols.

Iranian border guards start large-scale drills

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian border guards started four days of exercises named ‘Eqtedar (Might) 3′ in the Western parts of the country on Sunday.

Different bulletproof vehicles, drones and advanced military cameras are being used in the exercises, many of them for testing purposes.
