Weeks before Syria's presidential elections took place, they were denounced as a farce. And despite an expanding civil war in eastern Ukraine, and a boycott of the polls by millions, its elections were heralded as a great success. Is it a case of double standards? To investigate these issues, Oksana is joined by Theodore H. Kattouf, a former US Ambassador to Syria.
