Columbus Leistung liegt meines erachtens darin es heil hin und zurueck geschafft zu haben, dies beliebig oft wiederholend und somit der Wegbereiter war Nord-und Suedamerika letztendlich fuers moderne Europa zu erschliessen

Ich meine aber doch, dass der "Quetzalcoatl-Kult" bis in die Zeit von Teotihuacan zurück geht, die von den Tolteken "beerbt" wurde (sonst kämen auch noch irgendwelche Wikinger als "reale Vorbilder" des so europäisch beschriebenden "Gottes" in Betracht).

Hmm mit ein bischen Fantasie sieht n laengliches Drachenboot mit dem Drachenkopf am Bug, mit gespreizten Rudern und Segel schon aus wie eine gefiederte Schlange
Gleichzeitig ist Quetzalcoatl ein Weisser mit Bart der ausm Osten uebers Meer kam - dann die Rede von einem "Schlangenfloss" (fuer mich ein skandinavisches Drachenboot)
Also fuer mich klingt es eindeutig nach Wikinger
an der Theorie das Quetzalcoatl ein irischer Moench oder ein Toltekenpriester war der sich weiss Schminkt, der bischen Bartwuchs hatte und in die Karibik gefluechtet ist glaub ich nicht so recht - vorallem wuerde es ansonsten nichterwaehnt/ueberliefert worden wenn man argumentiert das es indios mit bartwuchs gibt und der sich weiss schminkt... den davon duerfte es dnan mehrere geben
