RUSSIA, TURKEY PREPARE FOR ARMS DEALS


ANKARA [MENL] -- Russia and Turkey have taken a significant step toward a major defense deal.

Russia and Turkey have ratified two accords that would protect the intellectual rights of equipment and technology transferred between the two countries. The accords would also commit both countries to protect information and equipment from third countries.
