China unveils its Apache killer
China has developed a new short-range surface-to-air missile system intended to engage anti-tank helicopters before these have closed to a range which allows them to fire air-to-surface missiles, writes Doug Richardson. It is also intended to counter low-flying targets such as cruise missiles.
