Submarine academy reforms its education centering on new equipment

¡¡¡¡The PLA Navy Submarine Academy actively furthers its education and trains new staff centering on new submarines, which provides strong support of talents and intelligence to form a new fighting power in submarine troops.
¡¡¡¡In recent years, as submarine troops of the Navy is equipped with more and more new weapons, the Academy started its program to train new talents synchronously. It established a trainer team by sending out more than 700 person-times to the researching institute and manufacturer of new submarines to acquire the operating skills.
¡¡¡¡The Academy also introduced simulation technology into its 22 military classrooms by working out a simulative submarine operation system, simulative comprehensive training system and deep-sea escape training systems and establishing more than 10 multimedia classrooms, which enabled it to train cadets to drive the new equipment in a fully simulated environment.
