Watchkeeper :

Teams led by Thales UK and Northrop Grumman ISS International have been selected to carry forward parallel assessment phase work before the selection next year of the preferred bidder for the £800m Watchkeeper programme.

Initial Gate approval for Watchkeeper was given in 2000 and the Main Gate decision is expected in mid 2004. Four companies (Thales, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin) were invited to undertake the first stage of the Assessment Phase and to propose tenders for the second stage. Northrop Grumman ISS International and Thales (UK) have now been selected to continue through to the second stage. The Thales (UK) team includes Aerosystems International, Elbit Systems Limited and QinetiQ and Northrop Grumman ISS International team includes BAE Systems, Detica Limited, General Dynamics UK Limited, STAYSYS Limited and Ultra Electronics Limited.

Frankreich:

Following the signature of a Letter of Intent on 19 January 2004, Greece is expected to join France's 300 million-euro programme to build an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) technology demonstrator.

Greece becomes France’s second partner in the project, after the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) signed a Letter of Intent with the French DGA (defence procurement agency) last year to take part in the project.

The purpose of the UCAV demonstrator will be to develop cutting-edge technology for advanced UAVs of the future, including advanced aeronautics, unmanned flight technology, stealth technology and adaptation to network-based defence.

Welche gibt es noch?

Der Global Hawk wurde vor kurzem mit nem neuen System von EADS in Deutschland getestet wird unter dem NAmen Euro Hwak vermarktet ist aber eher bis auf dieses EADS System ein amerikanischen Program....

Für die Korvetten der Klasse K 130 war ursprünglich eine dem Watchkeeper ähnliche Drohne vorgesehen, die allerdings erheblich kleiner geworden wäre. Soweit ich weiß, ist die Entwicklung dieser Drohne, deren Name mir leider im Moment nicht einfällt eingestellt worden.
Weiß jemand, wie diese Drohne hieß, und warum ihre Entwicklung eingestellt worden ist? :frag:

Tiger die Drohne die du meinst heisst Seamos und wurde von EADS entwickelt. Meines Wissens nach wurde die Entwicklung der Drohne eingestellt, weill sonst das Beschaffungsvorhaben für die K-130 Korvetten recht teuer gewesen wäre.

Eine Firma JAS Gripen kenn' ich noch nicht. Ist das ein neues Unternehmen im Rüstungsbereich? Von denen mußt du uns mal erzählen.
Wußte zwar, daß es ein Kampfflugzeug namens JAS-39 Gripen gibt, das von einer Firma namens Saab-Scania in Schweden entwickelt worden ist und von ihr hergestellt wird, aber eine Firma JAS Gripen...

Aber da diese nur vermarkten ist es wohl Saab.
