Rheinmetall has demonstrated its new Mission Master unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) module at the British Army Warfighting Experiment (AWE) Urban: Sustain and Protect (S&P) programme at Portsmouth Naval Base.

The UGV, known as the Mission Master XT − Rescue, was demonstrated in a live scenario for the first time at AWE on 22 November. This module is designed for medical evacuation (medevac), meeting the AWE S&P hypothesis, which seeks a solution to enable medical specialists to autonomously identify and treat or extract casualties. [...] A Rheinmetall spokesperson told Janes at AWE that the system weighs three tonne in total and is capable of speeds of up to 40 km/h. It was developed in collaboration with the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, the spokesperson added.

Zitat:VIDEX 2022: Vietnam deploys armed UGV for special forces operations

The People's Army of Vietnam has confirmed the operationalisation of an armed unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), and the system is now deployed across several special forces units.

Speaking to Janes at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition (VIDEX) 2022, which is taking place in Hanoi from 8 to 10 December, a representative from the service confirmed that the RBB-01 UGV began an induction process in 2020 and is now fully operational with selected units. [...]

The RBB-01 is a tracked UGV that has been developed for the People's Army of Vietnam in collaboration with the country's state-affiliated Z-111 Factory. The system is equipped with the TL-K12 9 mm rapid-fire pistol that can dispense up to 1,000 rds/min with an effective kill range of about 50 m.

https://defence-blog.com/ukraine-develop...ze-robots/

Zitat:Ukrainian military technology cluster, Brave1, has unveiled its latest creation, a ground kamikaze robot known as “Ratel S,” designed to enable precise strikes on enemy targets from a safe distance.

This development has garnered attention not only for its technological prowess but also for its potential impact on modern warfare.

Ratel S, a ground robot developed by Ukrainian engineers, serves as a mobile warhead carrier carrying anti-tank mines or bombs. Its key feature lies in the ability for operators to remotely detonate enemy tanks or fortifications from a secure location, ensuring the safety of military personnel.

The robotic platform boasts a maximum speed of 24 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 6 kilometers. It can operate continuously for up to 2 hours without requiring recharging. Ratel S has successfully completed field trials and is now in serial production.
