The unmanned aircraft, which was flying at an altitude of about 6,000 feet (1,800 meters), when it was downed, apparently entered Israel's airspace from the north and was heading south. Explosions were heard in the area.

BEIRUT, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Hezbollah denied Thursday sending a drone into Israel's airspace hours after the Israeli air force announced downing a Lebanese unmanned aircraft off its northern coast.
In a statement, the Lebanese militia denied "sending any unmanned drone into the airspace of occupied Palestine."
